Tracking the End of the Rainbow

There's a new piece of public art in front of the municipal building at 8th and Colorado Streets. "Tracking the End of the Rainbow," by Sharon Keshishian and Daniel Hornung, features a surrealist cowboy and horse paying homage to the historic Chisholm Trail.

According to the Austin Art in Public Places program, the sculpture represents "the concept that the further you go toward the desired objective, the farther away the objective withdraws."
