Morgan, Utah: The Devil's Slide
Two 200-foot-long blocks of limestone strata parallel each other down a canyon wall in a slide-like formation. They've been here 175 million years, but only became well-known when an interstate was carved in front of them.
- Address:
- I-84 E., Morgan, UT
- Directions:
- On the south (eastbound) side of I-84 at milepost 110.5. There are convenient viewing pull-offs on both sides of the interstate, but the eastbound side is closer.

Super cool to see the Devil's Slide in person. There's a faded sign 1/2 mile before the pull off and plenty of shoulder space in case you miss the pull-off. Definitely worth the five minute stop if you don't have much time. If you do have time, there's a small picnic area so you can spend some time.
