Promoted as a Route 66 attraction, this station was built two years before the Mother Road came into existence.

- Exit I-40 onto Route 66 in Vega (exits 35 or 37), drive into town, then turn north at the blinker light onto Main St. Drive three blocks. You'll see the gas station on the right, at the corner of Coke St.

The gas station was wonderful! Any car enthusiast would love it. Don't miss the museum across the street. It's great! There is also a '51 Hudson Commodore in one of the buildings, and a '22 Model T. You can print your own postcards on an antique printing press.
