Preston, Minnesota, home of the Root River Trail, sports a huge chain-saw carved trout. The detail is tremendous. The trout attends local (southeast Minnesotan) parades, and is present during "Preston Trout Days", which brings in visitors from nation-wide to participate in trout opening season. Preston and the surrounding area is noted for its trout fishing, scenic bluffs, Root River Trail, and related outdoor activities.
