Ike the Crossroads Dog

Tragically, on November 15, 2021, Ike the Crossroads Dog was hit and killed by a vehicle. A gofundme has been created so that a permanent memorial can be put up. For now, flowers and toys have been left by his sign.

Ike the World Famous Crossroads Dog

Ike the World Famous Crossroads Dog "directs traffic" and is treated with burgers and treats by a majority of the locals, truckers, and tourists who pass through his intersection each day, and have become familiar with his steadfast presence. He is known from California to Canada and all the way to Finland and has been featured in news stories across the country and the world. His Facebook fan page has photos, stories, and songs in his honor. T-shirts are sold in his honor and benefit a local charity.

SLOW WATCH FOR IKE signs are now posted at his intersection. Ike shows up when he wants to and no one is guaranteed to see him, but he can usually be spotted on almost any nice day. He does have a loving home. But the whole town and region has grown to love him.
