They have closed the hwy that passed directly in front of this place and opened a new route about 50-ft. away, so you can easily drive by... But it's a shame if you do. This is one of the only roadside attractions in the area that is more than a photo op -- it's an experience. Tip -- don't just do the gravity house, ride the train too, it's entertaining as hell.

Confusion Hill has been the home of mystery and fun in the redwoods since 1949. Our Gravity House will defy the laws of gravity. "Is seeing believing? That is the Question," is one of our logos. We have two attractions here: the World Famous Gravity House and the Mountain Train Ride. We are also the Home of the Rare and Elusive Chipalope. There is no right or wrong at confusion hill. It's just something you need to experience for yourself.

Confusion Hill has been the home of Mystery and Fun in the N. California Redwoods since 1949! It is truly a unique Roadside Attraction! Very much the same as mystery spots such as The Wonder Spot, The Mystery Spot and The Oregon Vortex!
In 1994 the old growth was logged off the hilltop (We became the owners in 1999). We now show folks "Nature Healing Herself." There are displays of historical logging equipment that we explain to our train riders and also tell them all about the unique characteristics of the magnificent coastal Redwood.
