There is a little dirt road near the fence line off of 56th. The first turn has quite a drop, but there is a second entrance to the dirt road that is smoother if you want to stop for a picture.

The dinosaurs -- a family of Triceratops -- were a 2020 Covid-19 quarantine project for local artist Pat Madison. He wanted to place them in Golden, but the city declined the offer, so he stood them in a field owned by some friends. The first Triceratops fossil was unearthed near Golden.
