Buddhist Temple Tour

Check out their website for the scheduled events. Was able to attend the Thai Food Festival. Toured the temples on the property as well. Very authentic feeling and everyone is very welcoming. There are signs on the doors to not wear shorts or tank tops in the temples.

Buddhist Temple Tour

Visitors need to be wearing long pants or a skirt to enter the temple and shrines - no shorts. We lucked out by having extra clothes in the car, but word to the wise. We also lucked into visiting during a celebration, so we were able to buy and sample tasty Thai festival foods. Yum!

Buddhist Temple Tour

This garden is so quiet that it inspires meditation. Temples, pagodas, and chapels are numerous, with the ubiquitous presence of Buddha.

Buddhist Temple Tour

A Thai themed Buddhist Temple with a large golden Buddha, main temple walls are covered with pictures shipped over from Thailand, temples dedicated to the three life experiences of Buddha, a large bell tower, dragons with mirrors as scales, among other things on the 12 acre compound. The monks give free tours of the grounds on their golf cart. They also sell post-cards, books, and other Buddha inspired gifts in the main building. Each tour gets a gift book about prayer and meditation. They also have daily prayers open to the public at 6am and 6pm. Wear socks if going on the tour, no shoes allowed in the main temple building.
