- Earl's Island Pavilion. From Minster drive east on E. 1st St,, which bends south and becomes OH-362. Drive one mile out of town. Turn left at the Earl's Island Pavilion sign. Drive to the parking lot at the end. The statue is on a gravel jetty just south of the building south of the parking lot.

Lake Loramie State Park is known for a few things, including the giant country music concert every summer, but Lake Loramie has a few more RA-friendly attractions. If you follow the signs toward Earl's Island, there is a dock with a strange but immaculately-kept concrete rendition of the Statue of Liberty, surrounded by a little fence.
Let the swell of patriotism carry you to the porch of the Earl's Island Pavilion, where you can use the free scope to scan the surrounding trees for bald eagles and hopefully take better photos than I did.
