The Weather Vane is impressive and worth a stop if you're in the area. Just SE from the Vane (how convenient) we discovered a Dog & Suds Root Beer stand. Great place for a quick bite. Tables overlook the nearby lake and canal.

We passed this huge weather vane on a trip to Western Michigan to visit lighthouses. We happened by this and had to take a picture. It was an added pleasure between the White River Lighthouse and Little Point Sable Lighthouse.
