Conveniently next to a road, made by an ankylosaurus roughly 65 million years ago. Helpful signs point to the prehistoric imprints.

- Directions:
- From Canon City drive west about two miles on US-50. Turn right under the arch onto Skyline Drive. Drive a half-mile and you'll see signs on the left calling attention to the cliffside dinosaur tracks. Don't park there; continue up the road about a hundred yards, park at the scenic overlook, then walk back to the tracks.

Very cool to see but be aware this is a very narrow, steep, winding, one-way road with drop-offs on both sides. People afraid of heights -- beware.

The set of ten tracks was made by an ankylosaurus roughly 65 million years ago. They remained unrecognized until they were spotted by a paleontology student in the 1990s.
