The plane isn't there anymore. The pole remains. I suspect that Hurricane Helene might have taken the plane for a final flight.

Large red plane mounted on a pole high in the sky at this gas station and convenience store, which also sells BBQ. Easy access and easily visible. An interesting structure given its rural location.
