Mount Carmel, Utah: Belly of the Dragon
A manmade tunnel dug in the 20th century as a floodwater culvert under US Highway 89. It has since been eroded into something natural-looking, photogenic, and fun to walk through. Don't go when it's raining.

- Directions:
- From Mt Carmel Junction, at the intersection of UT-9 and US-89, drive south on US-89 for a half-mile. Turn right onto an unmarked dead-end dirt road. Drive a third of a mile. You'll see a parking area on the left. Park, and follow the short, sandy trail to the tunnel entrance.
