The Bone Yard

We dropped by on December 25, 2021, and the exhibit is still up. The real feature here is the one giant skeleton. The other skeletons are about 3 feet tall and not particularly impressive. This would be a 4-star stop if there were animatronics triggered by a motion sensor or the owners from their house. (Even just one skeletons arm or head. Probably the giant one as that's where people pose for pictures, have their backs turned, and have their guard down. Even a "cheese!" from the skeleton would get a jump and a laugh.)

The locals don't seem to appreciate it, as there were half a dozen beer cans that'd been chucked at it. We wish we'd brought a plastic bag; we'd have tidied it for the owners as a thank you for making this roadside attraction.

Covid-19 skeleton humor.

The Bone Yard

A collection of skeletons have been arranged with some humor from the Bone Family. It's on Vonore Road across from the closed Virgil's Market.
