The lizard is located at East Side Neighborhood Services, a community center with an alternative high school and a day care. When the lizard was brought to campus, the day care students voted to name her Lizzy. Lizzy used to be a concession stand at Franconia Sculpture Gardens. She is beloved by all the children and watches over them and the community garden nearby. If you stop, drive down the road and get amazing beer at Dangerous Man and the best fish and chips in the city at Anchor, just a few blocks away.

A relatively recent addition to the Northeast Minneapolis sculpture scene is the Lizard Lounge by Mary Johnson, who also created the popular Max Rabitat sculpture nearby. Don't climb on the sculpture, but it's relatively easy to spot with nearby parking and definitely worth a visit for a fun photo opportunity.
