This Army base trained troops and housed German POWs during World War II. Still an active Reserve base, its entrance has an extensive static display just outside the main gate of aircraft, vehicles, and armament (including an early drone). Open to the public, ample parking and walking paths. There is also a small museum with limited hours that contains artifacts from camp history.
