There are now four of them. The three cows in the pictures and one more a little bit further down.
[Sue C, 02/27/2022]The thing that nobody has mentioned is that they aren't cows -- they are steers. ALL of them have horns. The little calf is trying to suckle a steer. Bwahahahahahaa.
[teresa, 11/12/2013]These cows used to be located in a field on the south end of Woodinville, on hwy 202. I used to pass them on my way to and from work; however, they began to disappear a couple years ago. I believe the bull was the first to go, and then the cow and calf. I was wondering if they had been destroyed until a recent drive to Ocean Shores. I was surprised to pass them on Hwy 101. They are now located near Olympia.
[Anne, 08/19/2004]Three large metal cows made out of empty oil tanks, very large and quite the thing to look at on a nice day. A mother, her calf and a bull all can be seen.

To clear up some misperceptions -- understandable, since few of us are ranchers -- these are statues of a bull, a cow, and a calf (cows can have horns, too). None of them are steers (which are castrated bulls) and only one of them is a cow. Probably should have named them Metal Cattle, and that might have prevented any confusion.
