The Chihuly Bridge of Glass is an elevated pedestrian walkway connecting downtown Tacoma to the city's Museum of Glass. The overhead sea scene is the instantly recognizable work of blown glass sculptor Dale Chihuly. Despite its ostensibly fragile elements, the bridge has survived intact for nearly 20 years.
