Completed in 2020, the large outdoor metal Steampunk-influenced kaleidoscope has a knob that turns wheels of hand-blown glass, which create different color patterns when you peer into the tube.

The Kaleidoscope is one of eight or nine sculptures in the Arlington Sculpture Garden section of Meadowbrook Park. Certainly the most interesting work. It is titled Brighten My Day and was created by Tarrant County, Texas artists Mary and Eddie Phillips. It is a working kaleidoscope! It was unveiled on October 24, 2020.
