An iconic sculpture of a sodbuster (farmer) plowing with two oxen stood in downtown Fargo from 1982-2002, when it was removed due to deteriorating conditions. After sitting in storage for over 15 years, it was restored and recently put back on display in front of the Fargo Civic Auditorium.
