Sitting in town, in a cute little park, this pecan is a great find for any nut who enjoys offbeat attractions!

The World's Largest Pecan has been relocated to beautiful downtown Brunswick.
[Tina Reichert, 02/16/2014]The Giant Pecan has sucessfully been moved into the city of Brunswick, and is plainly visible from Hwy. 24. Be sure to check it out during the Pecan Festival held in early October. Note: Brunswick is the "Pecan Capital of Missouri."
[Craig Tate, 09/05/2013]We visited the pecan on 17 July 2013, and found five workmen about to move the pecan into town. Since the property has been sold, the pecan is no longer welcome in its original location, hence the proposed move. There was some concern among the workmen that they might not be able to move it without damage; one of them joked that they might end up with pecan pie if things didn't go well. Foundations were dug out and it appeared ready to move, so perhaps the next time someone visits this site, the pecan may have moved three miles into Brunswick.
