Echo Canyon Tribute.

Echo Canyon

Stop at the rest area and climb the short hill for an epic vista of the surrounding cliffs, and an amusing monument to the immigrants who passed through the land. It's complete with oxen, dilapidated covered wagon, and cheesy declaration of westward expansion.

[Jeremiah, 08/22/2021]

The wagon's covered top with the word UTAH in letters was visible from the freeway, but it's gone now. The historical marker declaration is indeed cheesy. "Listen, if you will, to the melodic plodding of the oxen."
