This photo was taken in winter when the bus is more visible. American flags, formerly displayed, have been replaced by patriotic, military-supporting banners hanging on the fence. Not a typical hippie sentiment.

On Hwy 9 and 160th headed into Arlington is an old, rusted Volkswagen van that is on a platform, fenced off, with a tree growing through the middle of it and U.S. flags at each corner. Would love to know the story behind this shrine
