A new 13.5-foot-tall "Tall Paul" has replaced the 30+-year-old, 10-foot-tall Paul Bunyan statue at the entrance to the museum. Crafted by Kim Nessel, who volunteered over 2,500 hours to build it using polystyrene, fiberglass, and epoxy. Tall Paul took his place beside Babe the Blue Ox on May 7th. Some lucky person will take home the old Paul Bunyan statue, which will be auctioned off at the U.S. Open Chainsaw Championship at the museum on August 7th!
