Denver, Colorado: Convergence Station

Hipster-overload bizarro world built by the Meow Wolf collective. Try to figure out the clues while being overwhelmed with "maximalist" video, art, and sound washes. It's like walking around inside an arty MMO game.

Convergence Station

Be aware if you have sensory issues. It can be very over stimulating. Otherwise it's a great time.

Convergence Station.

Convergence Station

Convergence Station is Meow Wolf's third massive immersive art experience, and it is incredible to behold. You can just wander around and enjoy the different rooms, but there is a storyline which you can follow if you get a QPASS when you enter, for only $3 extra. I spent almost four hours here and I still feel like I could do more.

Convergence Station

I've been to museums and art exhibits all over America, and this one is a completely immersive experience I can't stop thinking about. It's kind of like jumping into a video game, complete with environmental storytelling. If you like role-playing and lore you'll like this.

The website says ~2hrs, but you could spend all day depending on how much you like to read. Spend $3 to get a scannable card to take along on your exploration. There's a restaurant inside but the food is mediocre at best and there is barely any seating. You can't reenter once you leave. The gift shop is worth a visit and about the same level of overpriced as most gift shops.

Secret door.

Convergence Station

Not much to see from the outside, but prepare to spend hours exploring the massive exhibits inside Convergence Station, and you still won't see it all. Don't miss the secret room in the laundromat!
