The big fiberglass chicken has stood on this spot for a decade. The home-made metal dinosaur is a more recent arrival.

The rooster is no longer there in Logansport. I'm from the area and it's gone. I don't know where or why.

A giant chicken! On the north side of US Route 24 just west of Logansport. It sits down off the road in front of a business, you can see it from the road but if you're traveling fast you'll miss the turn-off for the driveway. We turned around about a mile down the road as we thought the opportunity to add a giant chicken to our "Big Things 2005" tour was too good to pass up. I think the guys at the buisness thought we were nuts to take a photo with their chicken, but life's short, giant chickens are rare, and this one is very nicely painted and maintained.
