Nags Head Nag
The Nag of Nags Head. A goofy looking horse statue represents the legendary lantern-wearing "nag" supposedly used to lure ships to run aground. "Wreckers" [land pirates] would then plunder the ship's cargo. The Nag was once probably located in a miniature golf course.
