Sculptor Jaume Plensa says it isn't so, but it looks like "Water's Soul," his 72-foot-high head of a woman with her finger to her lips facing lower Manhattan, is New Jersey's way of telling New York to shut up.

This breathtaking sculpture along the Hudson River waterfront walkway in Jersey City is 80 feet tall. It depicts a woman's head and hand asking for silence. It was created by Jaume Plensa in Barcelona, and shipped to New Jersey in 2020. Water's Soul faces east across the Hudson River with a great view of New York City.
