Sub USS Drum and USS Alabama Battleship

The submarine USS Drum was an amazing stop. The museum and the USS Alabama battleship were also included in the tour price for the sub. These are self-guided tours, and photographs are allowed inside and outside. Expect to spend three hours or more here depending on your pace and availability of time.

Along with the battleship USS Alabama,the WW II submarine USS Drum is open for tours. She did 13 patrols from 1942-45. Hard to imagine living in such tight quarters for so long.
