- I-465 exit 31. Turn south onto Meridian St. Drive a quarter-mile. Turn left onto E. 96th St. Drive one mile. You'll see a brick entryway on the left labeled Five Seasons. Turn left, then a quick right into the parking lot. The memorial will be on the right, at the entrance to the walking path.

A black granite pedestal tells the story of Pirate Cat, "Mayor of the Monon," topped by a likeness of the celebrated feline. Some of his ashes are entombed within the monument.

Pirate Cat Memorial
You can access the memorial from either the USTA Midwest parking lot or the Monon Trail parking lot. From there, go straight toward the restrooms, over the Monon Trail, and onto the access trail that leads to USTA parking lot and monument.
