Prescott, Arkansas: Grave of Old Mike the Mummy
A traveling salesmen known only as Mike died unexpectedly in Prescott in 1911. The town funeral home turned him into a mummy, hoping that someone would identify him. He was finally buried in 1975.

- Deann Cemetery. I-70 exit 44. Drive east on US-371/Blevins Rd for 1.5 miles. When the road turns from three lanes into two, turn left into the cemetery. Drive to the first cemetery cross-street. Turn right. When you drive past one cross-street, Mike's grave will be ahead on the right, a small granite plaque flush with the ground.

According to Mike's small tombstone, he died in 1911, but wasn't buried until 1975. For some reason, the stone has a pencil engraved on it. Below it is a smaller plaque identifying the mortuary where Mike spent all those years as a mummy.
