Near downtown Covington there is a small triangular park that has, as its centerpiece, a statue of Covington-born artist Frank Duveneck (1848-1919). He is holding a portrait of his wife, Elizabeth, who died after only two years of marriage. The statue was created in 2006 by local artist Matt Langford.
Duveneck's paintings are on display at the Cincinnati Museum of Art, across the river in Ohio.
