- From HI-50 in Eleele, turn south at the stoplight (McDonald's) onto Waialo Rd. Drive a couple hundred yards, then turn left (no stoplight, parking lot across the road) onto Aka Ula St. Drive until the pavement ends, then continue on the dirt road to the cemetery.

McBryde Sugar Plantation Cemetery
An interesting piece of Kauai history can be found at the McBryde Sugar Plantation Cemetery near Port Allen. The cemetery contains the graves of Chinese and Japanese sugar plantation workers of the 1800s and early 1900s. Some of the graves are rather ornate. The cemetery overlooks Glass Beach in Kauai.
