Among the retirement communities, a comforting sight: this torpedo-like missile, a type once dropped by B-52s.

Directions:
South edge of town, outside the American Legion hall. On the north side of Hwy 44/E. Gulf Atlantic Hwy, at the corner of Legion Rd, which is just east of US Hwy 301.

Snark Missile

It looks like a giant torpedo with swept-back, top-slung B-52 wings. These babies used to be dropped from B-52s or launched from mobile carriers. No doubt it's a comforting sight for retirees in the adjacent Parkwood Communities.
