We stopped for lunch. The service was excellent -- we had soup and salads (fresh and tasty). It was fun eating in a covered wagon. Private and easy to hear one another.

The Prairie Schooner Steakhouse is so much fun! Meals are served in private stagecoaches. The walls and central area is filled with taxidermy (including a tableau of drunken raccoons playing poker). There are several campfires indoors and stars on the ceiling.
The wait staff wears plaid. Birthday songs are a treat! Desserts include a s'mores sundae. Food is surprisingly good and reasonably priced. I'm so glad we happened upon this place!
