USACE (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers) is restoring this Visitor Center at their Lock and Dam. The two-story building provides great views of barges locking through, up and down the river. It also has interactive displays about USACE, The Tulsa District, and navigation, as well as restrooms and a picnic area for a roadside break.
Please be considerate as this is an acting lock and dam whose priority is traffic on the river system.
