In the basement of the Jefferson Museum of Art and History (a great little regional museum to learn about the area) you'll find the neat old original jail cells of Port Townsend, from the days when it had a licentious reputation. According to the education plaque on the wall, Jack London is said to have spent a drunken evening here.
