Indianapolis, Indiana: The Idle
A group of stadium seats are positioned under an awning in the median of an interstate. Created in 2019 by Tom Battista, who thought people might like to sit and watch cars. Indianapolis, he said, doesn't have mountains or an ocean, but it has traffic.

- In the median of I-65. To visit, take exit 110A. Park on E. McCarty St. -- on the west side of the interstate -- walk north to Virginia Ave., then walk east along the Virginia Ave. paved sidewalk until you reach the median. You'll see the entrance on the right.
