Downtown Bourbon Marker

The downtown bourbon marker is a 22-foot-tall sign that designates the direction and distance to more than 30 Kentucky distilleries. This is a great starting point for those on a Bourbon Tour. The marker took nearly two years to complete and cost about $2,000 in cash and $6,000 in contributions.

It's become more common for towns to mimic the old World Traveler's Signpost concept for local marketing. The very high alcohol content of Frankfort's makes it noteworthy.
