We found this stop easily, a short drive from the highway. We were tempted to climb up on the wagon and sit next to him, but decided not to. Abe looks happy reading his book!

Giant Lincoln on Covered Wagon
The seated Abraham Lincoln is 12-ft. in length and 350 lbs. He is seated at the rein of the World's Largest Covered Wagon. the wagon was hand-built out of oak, and stands 24-ft. tall, 12-ft. wide, 40-ft. long and weighs 5 tons. The front wheels are 10-ft. tall and the back are 12-ft. tall.
The story behind this wagon and Abraham Lincoln is truly an inspirational story about the creator David Bentley, and his willingness to overcome his heart disease.

Abe and the wagon were built in 2001 by David Bentley of Divernon. He parked it on his farm. It was smashed by a tornado, Bentley rebuilt it, then sold it to Lincoln in 2007. The wagon is oak, weighs five tons, and does roll.
