Lexington, Oklahoma: Spider VW Bug
A car made to look like a bug. Formerly 15 feet high, but now sagging. Built by Monte Bodine in 1973-74. At the time, the now-empty filed where the bug stands was the world's largest VW salvage yard.

Wilson's Volkswagen has taken an old VW body and turned it into a 15-foot tall "Spider"! The VW is the body and from each wheel well and around the body the leg supports are welded.
