With so many Tibetan Stupas and Buddhas on this property, having Lady Liberty at its front entrance seems incongruous. Yet she receives offerings of food, water, and drinks for the tired, poor, huddled masses. Also co-located is a parrot sanctuary as well as other domestic animals (chickens, ducks, pigs). This temple is unusual because it's located within a designated agricultural preserve, zoned to preserve farmland and rural space near the U.S. capital. Maybe having the parrots and other animals helps comply with the agricultural requirements?
