New owners took over last year and immediately worked to get the rooms livable [RA: and restored the furniture to its original 1937 glory]. I stayed in #11 and thought it was sufficiently clean and comfortable, but some of the tile and fixtures were probably needing replacement.
There is a big initiative to perform additional restoration work, so the future seems bright for this property. Campfire and a social group of families, for customers, enjoy the central grass area. Reservations fill up, so be sure to book in advance. Good stay; I got my money's worth.

Wigwam Village provides the adventurous traveler an opportunity to experience what it was like to cross the county in the mid-20th century. On arrival you get an OMG moment that never does quite leave you during your stay. The innkeepers are doing their best to keep this nostalgic gem alive.
Kids love it, adults will hate it, but in the end the family will remember their stay -- for reasons good or bad -- and still be happy they gave it a shot.

Had fun staying in the attraction this week. I will say, so cold in the winter - drafty and small space heater. Not totally prepared for the snow. But for me it was part of the adventure. Clean. What a joy.
