[Malcolm Hansman, 09/02/2019]Right off I-90, and it's the only battlefield in the world where there are markers denoting where people died. Between the preserved landscape and these markers It really helps you to visualize the battle. Definitely recommend.

After the Battle of Little Big Horn the fallen U.S. soldiers were memorialized with white granite headstones where they fell, and even their horses were recognized with a marker. It took nearly 150 years until the Native Americans who died fighting were memorialized. Red granite headstones dot the landscape, marking the place they died during the Battle of Little Big Horn.
