This place is so cute! The rooms are the exact same layout as motels of yesteryear, but the amenities are so much better. The towels are large and fluffy, not at all like the flimsy towels of old. They have designated pet-friendly rooms and a little dog park, which is well lit at night. They even gave my pup a treat, water bowl, and a welcome note addressed to my dog.
We weren't fortunate enough to get a room with Magic Fingers, but maybe next time!

Two old Route 66 motels in Tucumcari, the La Plaza Court (1947) and Leatherwood Manor (1964) have been merged into this new place, a blend of contemporary conveniences and retro allure. The special "Snazzy Sixties" rooms provide vintage coin-operated Magic Fingers mechanical bed jigglers, and bedside radios that play mid-century music and commercials.
