- Stands in front of the Gallup Cultural Center. I-40 exit 22. Drive south, cross over the train tracks, then turn right onto Route 66. Drive a half-mile. The Center and Indian will be on the right.

The World War II "Navajo Code Talker" is always visible in front of the Gallup Cultural Center, along with a large sculpture of Navajo Chief Manuelito.

This is a more modern style of a big Indian in Gallup, NM. It can be found at the entrance to the visitor center/rest stop on the north side of the highway from downtown Gallup. There is a park across the street with various interesting sculptures but my pictures didn't come out very good.
