The first memorial to focus on Franklin Roosevelt's disability, this site was dedicated on July 17, 2021. It features two statues sculpted by Meredith Bergmann. One is of the president in his wheelchair with his arm extended toward the second sculpture, of a girl using a crutch, her own arm reaching toward her kindred spirit in the White House. Perseverance and hope.
