The rock legend's former getaway. Jerry Lee "The Killer" Lewis bought it in 1973. Visitors could take a one hour tour, possibly led by a relative -- or just pose outside the Lewis Ranch gate with its piano logo. Closed and sold after Jerry died.

[Daryl Palmer, 09/20/2021]In the 1970s, rock 'n' roll legend Jerry Lee Lewis bought a ranch property with a lake as a family retreat outside of Memphis. It remains a private residence today, populated by Lewis's relatives, who conduct daily public tours. Jerry Lee Lewis, who is still alive, is said to occasionally visit the ranch and pop by to greet, but no guarantees this will happen.
There's another JLL pilgrimage site, in Ferriday, Louisiana -- Frankie Jean Lewis Terrell's Pik Quick Drive Thru Liquor Store and Museum. A Lewis relative conducts tours of his childhood home by appointment.
