Fire Hydrant Graveyard
The main hydrant graveyard has several creatively painted old fire hydrants. A plaque reads, "Plug Preserve. Dedicated on March 7, 1992 to Jeanne Berman-Hosking and the Federated Women's Club of Brisbane for bringing joy to Brisbane residents."
You can drive around the neighboring streets and see similar hydrants on just about every other nearby corner.
[Mary Cancilla, 04/03/2013]All the fire hydrants in Brisbane are decorated and painted with different types of faces. On Visitacion Avenue across from the Brisbane Inn is a corner where several of these fire hydrants have been retired to.
