[Fred, 05/28/2013]The Muffler Man in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico is alive and well, about one half mile South of the Soriana store on Highway 57 and is in front of a hardware store. This is just South of the Quality Inn, which was formerly known as the Casablana Inn.
[Billy Martin, 07/29/2008]Are you aware of a muffler man in Piedras Negras, Mexico (a border town just across from Eagle Pass, Texas)? He is towards the southern end of town on the east side of highway 57. I'm afraid I have no photos, but he is without a doubt a muffler man.
[Jared Gingerich, 08/09/2005]Dear Sirs - I would like to report that a "Muffler Man" was seen by me, personally, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico in July of 2003. The statue is of the one-hand-up, and one-hand-down type. The statue is on Highway 57, which is one of the main highways in Piedras Negras. Piedras Negras is a Mexican city directly across the border from Eagle Pass, Texas. I have been to Piedras Negras every summer since 1992, except for one, but had never seen the Muffler Man, although it may have been there all the time.
